Who runs the site

GamesToPlay is run by the small independent team in Brazil that develops Game Cities. We write every page ourselves, in English, Portuguese and Spanish, and we answer messages personally.

How we choose games

Before a game gets a page here, it has to meet a few conditions:

• it runs in the browser, with nothing to download or install;
• it is free to play, and it does not sell virtual currency or items for real money or offer real-money betting;
• it works on current computers and phones — or its page says clearly where it works best;
• it explains what data it collects in a privacy policy of its own;
• we have played it ourselves, on a computer and on a phone.

How each game page is made

Every game page is written for players: what the game is and why it is worth trying, how to start, the controls, the requirements, practical tips, answers to common questions and the most recent updates. The text is ours — it is not copied from the game or from a store listing — and when a game changes, we update its page. When a game is made by our own team, as Game Cities is, the page says so.

Games on their own address

Each game runs on its own subdomain of gamestoplay.net (game-cities.gamestoplay.net, for example). The portal links to the game's own guide and news, and you can always come back here from the game. This keeps the portal fast and lets each game grow at its own pace.

Advertising

The portal and the games are free and paid for by Google AdSense ads. Ads are kept apart from the content and are never disguised as games or Play buttons. The privacy policy explains how ads use cookies and how to control them.
